Not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries
Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
Children 7-12 must be accompanied by an adult.
Children 13-17 must have a signed parental consent form to participate in the absence of a parent or guardian.
Minimum Weight: 40 pounds to fit into required lifejacket
Maximum Weight: Approx 250lbs dependent on waist size to fit into kayak cockpit
Maximum Height: Guests over 6'3" will not be able to use the rudders to steer and may be uncomfortable in the kayak
Guests should be in good health and will need to paddle for approximately 2 hours
Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately
At time of booking, Cruise ship passengers must provide the following information at time of booking: ship name, docking time, disembarkation time and re-boarding time

Ben did a great job of informing and guiding us around. We saw eagles, salmon, sea lions and seals. I thought we would be closer to the Glacier but apparently that is not possible. The day was excellent and the tour guide informative. Good workout as well

The sun was shining, waters were calm & Andre sang to us! It was a great day out at sea. Andre was a great guide. He knew his way around, the kayak, safety, wildlife & Alaska. He shared many things about Alaska not known to visitors, pointed out the wildlife & glaciers. And again, he sang to us. A great rip!

We had a wonderful day sea kayaking to view the beautiful Mendenhall Glacier. Andre was our tour guide and we were trained well in safety and set up to be successful at paddling and guiding our 2 man kayaks around the lake area. The water was very calm. We saw dozens of bald eagles. Andre told us a lot of facts about the wildlife and about Alaska. It was really fun. The morning started out very rainy, but we knew that Alaska can be rainy and we had some nice long rain ponchos with us. We dressed warmly and put on our rain jackets and had a great time.
