Paddle across Mendenhall Lake, navigating past icebergs, surrounded by Alaskan wildlife on an exceptionally stable, 28-foot, traditional Tlingit-style canoe, with all modern safety gear supplied. Venture within a safe distance of the awe-inspiring face of the Mendenhall Glacier and the beautiful Nugget Falls where you will hit the beach and refuel for the return paddle with an Alaskan-style snack. Due to the close approach to the glacier face, the Forest Service tightly controls the number of participants. Be one of the lucky few to experience this one-of-a-kind adventure!

My family and I absolutely enjoyed the Mendenhall Lake Canoe trip! We were lucky that the weather cleared up for us, making the waters calm and the sky bright blue. The views of the glacier and Nugget Falls were breathtaking. Our guide Arielle made our canoe ride and overall experience memorable! She was quite knowledgeable and shared lots of fun facts. She was interactive with the group, extremely personable and helpful. The entire group had a fun time canoeing on the lake and taking in all the sights. The rowing was a great upper body workout! Only downside was that the snacks were gobbled up before I could try a bite, but that's a sign that the food was yummy. I would definitely recommend this trip to anyone who loves an adventure and a workout all at the same time.

our guide Ariel was awesome and we had a great time , one of the highlights of this trip . She was very knowledgeable and took the time to help you out and tell you things about the land , nature and the view was spectacular, I would recommend this to anyone who is going to be there.

Our guide Colin and was funny and informative on our paddle to the glacier. We paddled very near nugget falls when stopping at the beach area for a rest and snack. This was very fun and exciting! Mitch was guiding the other boat and was also very professional. Shore helpers were great at getting everyone in the proper gear.
