Castle Valley is the poster child for Western landscapes, and you’ve probably already seen it somewhere in a John Wayne movie, TV show, or a commercial or two. And if somehow you have, in fact, never laid eyes on Castle Valley before, you’re not going forget it once you do!

This serene section of the Colorado River moseys through a big beautiful valley lined with monuments. Along the way are some of Utah’s most impressive geologic features like Fisher Towers, Castleton Tower, the Priest and Nuns, and more.

As for the waters here along the Colorado River, it stays pretty warm from late spring to early fall. You’ll spend most of your time floating, with a few Class II rapids to cool you off along the way. Expect plenty of fascinating interpretations and fun stories from your river guide on this mild trip!

My wife and I plus our 4 kids went on a mild rafting tour, and it was simply an outstanding experience. We all had a chance to get in the water during the ride, and a few of us had a turn at rowing the raft from the Guide position. We were unbelievably fortunate to have Kaitlin as our Guide. She really went out of her way to make sure we all got the most out of our adventure. We can't recommend her enough. From check-in to check-out, every person we encountered on the staff was top notch. If you are in Moab, make some time to do one of their rafting adventures. You will not be disappointed.

I hade so much fun. Katelyn - our guide was so easy going, fun, and so gorgeous. The first time rafting and will definitely come back next year and do it again

The scenery was breathtakingly Beautiful. Our guide was very knowledgeable and fun. He shared a lot of great facts about the area and the nature we encountered a long the drive and the river. We were well taken care of.
