The Captain and crew were outstanding. I would highly recommend, their attention to safety and well being of the guests was without compare.

The boat ride was great and saw lots of turtles and fish, but way too many people at the location we went to. There were probably 8 other tour boats there each with at least 30 people, so at time you had to be vertical in the water.

We signed up for this snorkel tour and it was the worst day of our vacation. The captain on this day was not a kind person at all. We we’re running late for this tour, as we were traveling with our baby nephew and had a hiccup along the way. We got there a couple minutes before our departure time however we were parking in the wrong section. The captain notified us we couldn’t park there and told us we had to drive back to another section. We knew it was almost time to depart and asked if it was possible to wait for my brother in law who was parking the car. The captain said that if he was not back by the departure time he would be left behind. If the captain had waited just five minutes, my brother in law would have made it in time and we would have had a better (not great) experience. However they did not care and we had to leave without him. I understand they have set departure times however life happens and sometimes people run a little late. Even if we think it won’t happen to us, it definitely can! My major problem was that my brother in law was in parking lot, it wasn’t like he was not even at the location yet. We decided to take a different snorkel tour the next day and it was amazing. The captain and crew were great. We were on time this time but there were some families that had not arrived yet. The captain called each family and asked if they were almost there because we were almost departing. We even waited 10 extra minutes for a family to arrive and no one was bothered by it at all. I would definitely recommend Turtle Canyons Snorkle Excursion from Waikiki, Hawaii. If you are trying to figure out which your to take, don’t do this one. Companies like this one don’t care about their clients and are only in it for the money. Additionally, besides the fact that we had to leave my brother in law behind ( I cannot stress enough how he was in the parking lot, less than 5 mins away) , we also saw the captain was rude to another family. Like I said before, out of our week long trip, this day was the worst. Also just an fyi, the reason it took so long for me to post this is that we got busy with the rest of our trip and I just kept forgetting. We will be retuning to Oahu August 2023 and I am booking activities (definitely not this one), which is why I am taking the time to post this review now.

Aileen, It's unfortunate that your brother in law was unable to make in time for the snorkel. Whenever a situation such as yours occurs, the captain and crew feel for you because they too are human. However, like you mentioned, the departure times are set for not only the company, but other passengers as well. It's for this very reason that we advise our customers to get to the harbor an hour in advance to avoid any potential hiccups. We also give an additional 5-10 minutes after departure time, and again, while we would for people running late to be able to make the cruise, out of fairness to the other passengers on the trip who also have things planned and scheduled, we cannot indefinitely wait on a late passenger. Hopefully after some thought you will understand that this was not personal, and you'll consider booking us again in August.
