Tha National Comedy Center is a MUST see attraction. I like museums but this was like no other I've been to. First of all, when you come in you're given a wrist band. You take that to a kiosk where you scan that and then you get to pick from hundreds of comedians, TV shows, and movies from current selections to back in the 50s. Then the fun/magic happens. Your selections are used to help guide you on an interactive tour that is geared towards your tastes. How awesome is that?! Why can't ALL museums be this way. Anyways, my wife and I spent three hours there. At no time did we ever feel rushed to get out of the way of something or made to feel hurried along. The first exhibit was a tribute to Johnny Carson hosted by Jimmy Fallon. I'm not going to say how they did it but it was so much fun. We sat there at least 30 minutes. There were many activities that you could do and lots of places where you could sit down to rest and sit to watch or do things. That was a great idea. They even give you a sanitized in a sealed baggie pair of ear buds because some of the exhibits are designed in such a way that you want to listen without disturbing others around you. Or others disturbing you. Which leads me to my ONLY flaw with the whole place. The earbuds, for me at least, we're uncomfortable and kept falling out of my ears. That is the ONLY negative about my whole experience. GO THERE. You'll love it!!
