Our tour guide, Jay, was excellent! He made the four hours fly by. Lots of pertinent info to the sites we passed along with some funny stories and facts thrown in for good measure. Would definitely recommend to all ages. The only fact we didn't know, was that the first stop was a market place where you could purchase some food - we rushed to eat before our tour and it was barely passable compared to the food we could have had at Chelsea Market! Check on this when you book tour and enjoy the stop!!!!
I was expecting to see more 'lights of the city' on this tour. Basically, it was just what the name implies. A tour of the city that takes place at night. Unfortunately, the beginning of the tour seemed slow paced just due to trying to get out of the traffic of the Broadway district where the tour began. The end of the tour at the base of the Brooklyn Bridge looking over the river at Manhattan was the best part. Tyler, the guide, was engaging. It was good--not great.
I would give this more than 5 stars if I could. It was amazing. I did this tour in August 2016 and it was one of the best tours I have ever been on. Firstly, Tour Guide J was brilliant. He was thoroughly entertaining from start to finish and really made this tour what it was. We visited Chelsea Market, High Line, Grand Central Terminal and the Charging Bull, all of which we hadn't had chance to visit, so it was perfect for us! The night cruise was a fantastic experience. J ensured we knew where the best seats were and we also got priority boarding. J was a great photographer and we have some amazing photos from that night. I felt like we got the best insider knowledge. I would definitely recommend this tour!
