We purchased tickets from a street vendor in front of the Stanton Island Ferry and it was a complete scam. After being lied to about what time the cruise would be, we found out that it was three hours later than promised. The Circle Line staff were rude to us at the ticket office - after asking for a refund, they told us to go grab a drink and chill out. The boat was a disaster - the windows were so coated with filth that you could not see out them to take decent photos. There were no snacks or food available, the bathroom was wretched, and the entire boat stunk of fumes. This is a waste of money - you can ride the Stanton Island Ferry for FREE and not wait hours. We wasted an entire afternoon waiting for this run-down boat when we could have had a nice ride past the Statue of Liberty for free on the Stanton Island Ferry.

Thank you for providing your feedback and letting us know about this issue, Rob. We set a high standard for ourselves and are truly sorry to hear that standard was not met in your interaction with us. We do not recommend purchasing tickets from any street vendors, but rather purchasing directly from our box office or website. We will be investigating this further. We hope you will visit us again so we can improve your opinion of our services.
Cheers,
Circle Line Sightseeing Cruises
