I wish I could give zero stars! These don’t help you skip any line, they actually double your wait times and guarantee they get paid for it even if you can’t get in or decide not to spend an entire day waiting to see one attraction. My friend bought these passes and boy did he get (all of us) duped and ripped off—because they are NOT passes and they EXTEND your wait time to attractions by HOURS. This is a voucher, not a pass. At every attraction, you have to wait in a LONG line to redeem the voucher for a ticket to come back at a later scheduled time—that means after 1-3 hours in line for tickets that you already thought you bought online, you’ll have to wait another 1-5 hours for the next available entry time to that attraction! We tried multiple attractions and saw none bc the wait times would have entailed one entire day of waiting for one attraction. So literally, we saw no attractions with our 3-attraction passes. What a racket!

Direct quote from person managing the lines at the 9/11 Memorial Museum Tour: "CityPASS is worthless during busy times of the year". The reason this is the case is that you have to wait in CityPASS lines to get your tickets (exception is Empire State Building). Then you wait in line or visit attraction at scheduled time. We visited Statue of Liberty. We spent 90 minutes in a CityPASS line to get tickets, then waited another 75 minutes on line to ferry. I say one poor couple who waited int the ferry line, then was informed they needed to get a ticket because CityPASS is not the ticket. Felt awful for them. ANH was awesome, but I got there at 8:30 AM, 30 minutes before the museum opened. By 11:00 AM, the CityPASS line was brutal, but the entrance by the Space side was very short. 9/11 Memorial was the kicker. I arrived at 10 AM and was informed the CityPass line was 3 hours. I could have walked to the electronic ticket stations and bought a ticket with no line. To make this clear CityPass ADDED a minimum of 3 hours of waiting here! You may save a few bucks with CityPass if you visit all of the attractions. But the trade off is that you will wait significantly longer in lines (especially during peak times like the holidays). In fact, I lost money using the CityPASS because I only had a 4 day trip and ended up not having the desire to spend an entire day waiting in lines. Net is this: 1) Don't buy CityPASS. 2) Just go to the attractions you want to see, but go early. Right when they open. 3) CityPASS does not get you in advance or special lines. Rather you will be in longer lines. It did not save me time. 4) CityPASS may be OK if you plan to visit every single attraction during a time when you have no lines.. Enjoy New York!

This has been on my bucket list for a while, no longer do I have to envy colleagues who have visited. Having a family with growing children meant that considerations were made for our family holiday and often that meant a resort in the sun. This year, despite the children being grown they still enjoy the theme parks of Florida, however, this year we added a trip to New York. The city certainly was a Wonderful Town and lived up to our expectations. It doesn't have the historic beauty of most European cities, however, it does have it's own beauty and charm. Although we were there for 5 days we did not get to see everything and all the family intend to return. The City Pass was really helpful in not only providing access to some wonderful experiences it helped in finding them. Brilliant. My only issue was in getting the pass with my voucher. Our hotel was near the Empire State and as were not intending to visit it that day, due to the weather, we wanted to exchange our voucher for passes and the offers within. This proved to be an issue as we had to queue and go through security and the lower exhibition before getting to the ticket counter. Not a major issue but a wasted hour on a busy visit. Better access please.
