Awful
After paying $136., my partner unexpectedly got sick, in addition, to a departure within the time of sailing and I explained we couldn’t come because of that reason. Spoke with Ericka, I think that was his name, who was extremely condescending. With a snarky smile, offered a 50% for future reservation instead of a refund which unfortunately we only came to New York as we were passing by to our final destination. This was an awful experience, and I wouldn’t ever under any circumstance to deal with this company again.

We are sorry to hear that you were unable to attend your original sail as scheduled due to unexpected sickness. The cancellation policy for the tickets you purchased through a third party affiliate does clearly state that the tickets are non-refundable, but we attempted to work with you to try to find a solution. The notes in your reservation indicate that you were offered a credit for your booking towards a more expensive trip later in the evening, but you declined that option. You were then provided a courtesy rebooking to a later sail of equivalent value, but you did not attend that sail. As you state, you were also offered a courtesy 50% credit towards a future reservation. While we empathize with the unfortunate circumstances of the illness in your party, we made a very reasonable effort to find a way to accommodate you. We do offer trip insurance for customers that book directly with us for situations such as this, but unfortunately it is not possible to offer this through all ticket purchasing avenues. We hope everyone is now recovered and well!
