This tour only runs in the winter months from Sept 1st through May 1st. This trip will be focused on the Aurora Borealis aka Northern Lights. It offers some of the most amazing views that Mother Nature offers. There is no disappointments on this trip as you will return home with those ultimate memories and photographs of a lifetime! Our trips are not fast and quick as we love watching the lights too! Expect hours of fun, great conversation and learning how to photography the lights.

For photographing the Northern Lights we highly suggest a DSLR camera with a lens that is capable of at least a f/2.8 18-35mm and a decent tripod for best pictures. The Northern Lights can be photographed with smartphones as well. But know that due to taking a time exposure, your best results will be with a DSLR camera. It can be cold (below zero), so be sure to dress appropriately for the weather conditions and have an extra camera battery. The cold temperatures can drain a battery quickly.

It was possible to see the lights. I had booked without checking the weather conditions so lights were faint and only possible to really see with a camera. Scott was awesome and tried his best to show us the lights in spite of weather conditions. Got some good pictures would recommend just make sure it's a clear night.

Knowledgeable guide. Beautiful lights. Lights started out low and then Into bright dancing cloud glows, ribbons, twists, waterfalls, and more. Mostly green with a touch of pink, red, purple…even a dash of blue. First clear night in weeks and more cloudy nights coming. Guide won’t give unless the sky is clear so we can see the lights.

I highly recommend this tour over the others, Scott really had a passion to show us the Northern lights he has his own private area he found by doing his own exploration, this area is very private, hes committed on making sure you get what you paid for if the forecast doesn't look good he will not go unless the northern lights are viewable. He is also great on helping you use the personal camera to take the photos properly I only had my samsung phone and he was able to go thru my settings to take the photos properly for night vision I had no Idea my phone had this capability.
