What a great trip to the coast....! It included many great quick stops filled with a lot of great information and history. We also had a generous amount of time for Canon Beach and lunch. Marcus was very personable and accommodating to the group. We had to drive thru a very snowy area and the Sprinter van at Marcus’s control was as steady as a rock and very comfortable. When I visit Portland on my next trip Marcus will be my only choice. It allowed us to make great memories with our family and have fun filled and exciting day. Thanks Marcus

It was a good tour. Marcus shared a lot of information about Portland. He did ask if we had any special requests before the trip started and based on that modified the day's schedule. We stopped at a bunch of scenic spots, did a small hike in the woods along the way. Drove through a lot of small villages. Spent a lot of time at Ecola for lunch & some strolling, maybe that was a bit much.We did not stick to the itinerary...The tour ended around much earlier than mentioned (by 2 hours), I guess based on the special requests.
Overall real good for a first time trip to the Coast. Appreciate the information, the pick up and drop off and good service. Esp. impressed that the quiet group did not stop the guide from doing his thing :)

Hello Kushki. The times given for the itinerary are based on pickup and drop-off times, not time spent on the coast, which is standard for tour itineraries. If we had spent 8 hours on the coast, your tour would have been 12 hours long. Given that your pickup was at 8:40 and your drop-off was at 17:40, that comes to 9 hours for your tour. The further your pickup is in the opposite direction from the destination (in your case 10 miles east of downtown), the more the drive will cut into time spent at the destination. The list of potential stops shown for this tour are not possible to do in a single day, that is why we ask the guests what they are most interested in seeing, and we customize it accordingly.

The tour was great, Marcus explained a lot about the state of Oregon and it’s history and the locations we visited were beautiful.
