I used Viator for bike rental for my 3 friends and I to tour Central Park in NYC. The rental included a helmet and a basket for the bike. Insurance was offered at the shop for an extra 2 per bike. You have to walk the bike a few blocks to get to Central park, so one hour would not be sufficient. Definitely save yourself some money by purchasing in advance because it is less than half price.

Much cheaper by booking in advance and I really enjoyed riding around the park - One tip - Make sure you have your free map before you set off - I didn't realise I had not been given one and nearly started cycling around the park again!

Lovely day, great bikes except chain came off and had to walk part of the way back to the bike store. Other than that it was lots of fun. The map was not great and hard to read ...seemed faded .
A good value for the money.
