Whilst it was winter and the park covered in snow, this was a great way to see Central Park.
Staff (at the bike rental location) were friendly; however minimal time was provided to explain the bike, NYC rules and I found the bikes to be average (for rental bikes).
Within Central Park, there is a designated bike path, with rules and regulations advising that no bikes can be ridden on the paths. With this said, it was easy to navigate to view such sights as Alice in Wonderland by walking the bike.
I do recommended this tour as a great way to see the park.
It would be perfect if you could pick up the bikes at the front of Central Park. Those who are not used to ride bikes in big cities will find some difficulties on getting to the park by riding or pushing the bike.
Wonderful way to spend an afternoon in NYC. Book at least 2 hours and preferably 3, that way you can stop and explore a bit.
