Guests will need one MetroCard swipe or OMNY tap to enter the subway.

Please note that although you will see abandoned subway stations from the train, the Metropolitan Transit Authority (MTA) doesn't grant public access into them under any circumstances.

AJ was very knowledgeable and an absolute wonder to have to discover the New York subway with! Knowledge of New York history is an asset as many municipal historical figures come in and out of the narrative as the tour unfolds. The subway system is very hot so bring water and dress light. Also the tour is almost all in the subway system so you'll need a metro card or pay the fare to enter the subway proper.

We had the best time on this tour. Our guide Ben is clearly so passionate about NYC, its history and the subway. With the microphone system they use it's easy to understand the guide without being huddled together and without him having to yell. I won't spoil the tour by posting any details, go find out for yourselves.

We took the underground subway tour. It was the best tour experience we have ever had and we have had some great ones. Rob, our tour guide, was exceptional: Intelligent, informed, funny, and warm. He has a passion for NYC that is infectious. He went out of his way to be helpful. The tour was the highlight of our trip to NYC. We will book again in the future, because of Rob and an excellent itinerary.
