Guests will need one MetroCard swipe or OMNY tap to enter the subway.

Please note that although you will see abandoned subway stations from the train, the Metropolitan Transit Authority (MTA) doesn't grant public access into them under any circumstances.

I think it is a little misleading, because we thought we were going to be able to walk the ghost subway stations rather than just whip past them. Great info otherwise

Hi Steven, we're happy you enjoyed the information given on the tour and we apologize if you felt misled. We do try to make it as clear as possible that you will see abandoned stations most New Yorker don't know exist but not enter them. It is illegal trespassing and dangerous for the public entry otherwise. Again we appreciate your review and thank you for your feedback. Please take good care!

Alexis was an excellent tour guide. It was great to get the information through the air buds that allowed us all to hear what she had to say. We left with a desire to go see the new 2nd Ave. section of Subway now open to the public. I recommend this to work to anyone, both new to the subway or a veteran rider.
