Guests will need one MetroCard swipe or OMNY tap to enter the subway.

Please note that although you will see abandoned subway stations from the train, the Metropolitan Transit Authority (MTA) doesn't grant public access into them under any circumstances.

AJ was a great guide! Not only was he incredibly knowledgeable, but extremely enthusiastic. I learned a lot about my own city and am so glad I took this tour. I'll never look at the subway the same again.

If you are interested in local history and how stuff works, this tour is for you. Alexis was very knowledgeable and gave us a thorough history of the New York City subway system. She pointed out details and design elements that I had walked past many times and never noticed. I feel like I can navigate the system better now. I have always enjoyed and been fascinated by the subway, and now my experience is enhanced even more.
