This was a "bucket list" item for me and this company met all my expectations. I was in the cage for 20 minutes with five others and we had nine 10-foot Galapagos Sharks circling beside and under us constantly. The captain and mate were informative, funny, and very helpful. I went on the 8:30 AM cage dive and despite the earlier time, the water was very choppy. This older, heavier guest had difficulty getting up the ladder onto the boat but the crew was terrific and helped me negotiate the steps as the waves slapped against me.
The marina is at the end of the road in Haleiwa just before you turn onto the bridge, and the check-in was very easy. Driving there is pretty much a straight shot but leave early! Although Google Maps told me it would be a 40 minute drive (leaving at 7 AM) it ended up being closer to 50 minutes due to construction and, at one point, two speed traps on the freeway.
Do bring an underwater camera; I used an Olympus TG-6; the underwater settings worked well but I also took a couple with the flash on for greater clarity.
