This was the most amazing experience of our lives so sign up right now (seriously) because you will not regret ite! We felt SO SAFE the entire time, never once did I doubt the staff and captain. They were extremely knowledgeable. PLEASE tip! These people deserve it, especially for how inexpensive this shark cage dive is for the amazing life experience you will receive! I've read reviews of how rough the boat ride to the cage is but with Dramamine taken the night before and the morning of, my husband and I did not get sick so we would recommend you do the same. The cage was the most frustrating part of the tour as it bounces around in the Pacific and you will focus on finding your own balance. I think there should be briefing on how to conduct yourself in the cage because my husband and I were a mess, we wanted to just stare at the sharks but we found ourselves holding on and messing with our masks. You will float due to the buoys all around the cage so you have nothing to worry about it is just that the cage with the buoys makes it hard for you to stay in one place and focus on the sharks. I almost booked another tour the next day so I could benefit more the second time with the experience of the first tour. Even with the cage tossing you around a little bit, the experience was utterly mind blowing, I will NEVER forget my first view of the gorgeous Galapagos shark in the middle of the blue pacific, it was life changing. The shark almost looked tribal, like something you have never seen before. Aquariums don't count, seeing these majestic beings free is astounding. After the cage dive, I would like to free dive with them. The cage dive helped me to understand even better just how little they care about humans and to dispel all preconceived ideas society has formed about them. You owe it to yourself and the sharks to experience this. I can't say enough about this tour, my biggest regret is not booking it again the next day! We decided to save our money. It sells out fast so book soon. Please take my word for it, this is amazing and where else can you do this safely in a trusted environment with quality reviews? This is coming from a person that thought of ALL worst case scenarios beforehand and here I am I did it and I want more of it! So please DO IT! :) Make sure you get there 30 minutes beforehand to check in, practice with your snorkel beforehand for good fit, realize this is once in a lifetime and savor every minute because it goes lightning fast! :)
