This narrated walk comes from books by David Dominé, who often guides groups himself. Tales involve personal experiences and neighborhood gossip. The New York Times recommends this as the first thing to do during a visitor's "36 Hours in Louisville." You'll also learn about A DARK ROOM IN GLITTER BALL CITY, David's next book—out in October 2021!

Specializing in "America's Most Haunted Neighborhood," we depart from the corner of Fourth and Ormsby, at the transitional edge of the neighborhood. If you love old architecture and spooky history, this is the tour for you! If you do not like an up-and-coming neighborhood with a diverse racial make up, this tour is not for you! If you can't go 100 minutes without a bathroom, this is not for you!

This tour was great! I try to find a ghost tour in every city we visit and this one was super interesting. I had no idea that Louisville had such an illustrious history. Our tour guide Angelique lives in the neighborhood and provided a lot of great personal experiences of her time in Old Louisville. We took the 7:30pm tour in winter so it was dark and spooky which added to the ambience. It was my sister and I (ages 20’s-30’s) and I wouldn’t recommend walking around the area after dark alone, but once Angelique started the tour we felt much more comfortable and she made sure we crossed all streets and the group stayed together. We are already planning to come back and take a daytime tour since we couldn’t see as much of the architecture as we wanted to at night and also take the Conrad-Caldwell house tour to hopefully have our own paranormal experience. Thanks for a great tour!
