The Original Sea Cave Kayak Tour (90 Minutes in Length) offers unforgettable guided tours through the La Jolla Ecological Reserve. Each tour is lead by experienced guide(s) who ensure participants safely navigate through the unique ecological habitats while seeing different types of marine life.

This highly-protected and unique area boasts one of the highest concentrations of sea-life in the West Coast. Guests commonly encounter seals, sea lions, and a multitude of birds and fish, and lucky guests might even see dolphins or whales!

Towards the southern end of the Ecological Reserve, La Jolla's Seven Sea Caves patiently await, allowing participants to witness their beauty. Weather permitting, participants can kayak through the large sea cave that goes from the ocean into the Emerald Cove.
Entry into the Emerald Cave depends on the safety, and is not guaranteed. Participants must be five years or older to participate in the tour.

Valid for up to two people to ride in a double kayak.

My partner and I found a great offer on Groupon for this Sea Cave Kayak and Snorkel Tour. After the payment was made, we went to make a reservation with Everyday California and were disappointed when told they in fact had no more snorkelling and kayak tours, just kayak tours singular. There was no attempt to even rectify or reimburse us for paying for a full tour and only getting half. Despite this, we carried on with the kayak tour. Our tour guides were very friendly and informed us well on the areas we were kayaking around. However, the tour leaves much to be desired. It didn't last long, we didn't enter any caves and we saw no inspiring marine life. There was absolutely no value for money, I felt that we had paid just to rent a kayak. Would definitely not recommend to others and would not return.

My wife, daughter and I booked and did the Sea Caves Kayak Tour with Everyday California a couple of weeks ago and had an amazing time. The tour guides were great and the scenery of La Jolla from the ocean was just stunning. The Sea Cave was pretty cool but the best part was kayaking up close and personal with the seals and sea lions.... It was an adventure we will all not soon forget...Everyday California did their best to make this a great adventure.....

We did the Sea kayak tour with Everyday California in July. My sister and I shared a kayak. The waves were too big to go into the center but we still got an up close view of the seals and got to go very close rob the caves. Our two guides Lauren and were really knowledgeable about the area and made you feel really comfortable. My sister had never kayaked in the ocean before but she had a blast and now wants to kayak more! The company does a great job pushing you out and helping you come back in. I definetly reccomend this company if you are looking to kayak in La Jolla. They also have great clothes and hats there!
