Our cage-free experience allows you to SAFELY swim with sharks in their natural environment. You will walk away with a new perspective and appreciation for these beautiful creatures. Photos and Videos are included for free on every tour! We are a Native Hawaiian family owned and operated company rooted in Haleiwa, Hawai'i on the North Shore of O'ahu.

A safety diver will escort you into the water where you will be able to safely watch as well as swim with the sharks, and other pelagic creatures. While swimming in the open ocean with sharks and other pelagic creatures, you'll gain a deeper understanding of the ocean and its inhabitants - disposing of the irrational fears and misconceptions of sharks and other ocean creatures.

This is a "cage-free" experience where we will be free swimming with sharks for about 30 minutes. No heavy equipment is used. Just us with snorkel gear - so we keep the experience as natural as possible.

  • Minimum age is 5 years old - must be accompanied by an adult

  • We kindly ask you leave behind any preconceived notions about sharks and experience this adventure with an open mind
  • Always be attentive and present in the water, keeping your ears above water and paying close attention to the Safety Diver's instructions
  • If you are prone to seasickness, please take Dramamine 1 hour prior to the tour
  • A minimum of 3 people per trip is required for any trip. If you are booking as a single passenger, we will contact you if the minimum trip requirements are not met.

It was the highlight of my vacation so far. Very Nice crew and the tour was beyond expectations! It was amazing! We saw 7-8 sharks really close. Thank you for the amazing trip en the Nice pictures.

100% recommend this as a must do in oahu and with Island View! My brother and I had booked a tour with another operator, hired a car for the day and were on our way up to the north shore when they called to tell us they were cancelling the trip for the day. We decided to call Island View last minute and despite having already commenced their last scheduled trip for the day, they offered to run an additional one for us. Great service, and meant we effectively had a private tour! We were so grateful, and meant we hadn't wasted money on the hire car. While this wasn't on my bucket list by any stretch, I was really just accompanying my brother, I'm so glad i did it. I was initially petrified and nearly backed out when the boat arrived at the diving spot and I immediately saw the sharks at the surface, but the guys were awesome at reassuring us and putting us at ease throughout the experience. I was also a bit of a chicken and thankfully they had a 'pool noodle' floating device they let me use throughout the swim. Really didn't want to be worried about keeping an eye on sharks and staying afloat at the same time!! Once I was in the water I quickly realised the sharks (about 12 of them) were very peaceful creatures, more than happy doing their own thing, and couldn't be less interested in trying me as a meal! Excellent service, great photos even with the pool noodle :) , and just a fantastic thing to do on holiday. Thanks to the guys for getting us out on such short notice! Made one of the last days of our trip one to remember!

My husband and I did this trip during our time on Oahu. The entire experience was wonderful, from booking through the trip itself. It was easy to book online, and we got a reminder the day before, with clear directions for where to park to meet our instructors. We got a safety briefing prior to leaving, and they kept a close eye on us to make sure everyone was safe the entire time. Everyone was friendly and easy going, but professional. The snorkeling itself was amazing, we saw several sharks, and they took some great photos. If we ever find ourselves back on Oahu we will definitely do this again.
