Petrópolis a city in Rio de Janeiro State also known such as Imperial City. It was the first planned city construction of Brazil and modern world in 19th century. The Imperator Dom Pedro II, in 1843 made the region as his summer staying, ten years later in 1853 the first brewery of Brazil was founded in Petrópolis, but in 1898 was renamed Bohemia.

Our Guide Guia Julio Amaral made this trip a very interesting one. This trip is well worth the money. It is an entire day trip with enough time to see everything on offer. Our guide was just super. He was an energetic, jovial gentleman with lots of stories to tell. We certainly enjoyed the trip and recommend it. He is also very punctual in picking up the guests from hotels. If anything the guests are never ready to be picked up.

Excellent tour to the imperial city of Petropolis, German colony in Brazil. Beautiful museums of toy, wax, porcelain, chocolate house. Divine Imperial museum, the summer house of Pedro de Alcantara, beautiful and very bearable. The guide a genius, Rafael Robaina. Driver Carlos Marrone, a master behind the wheel. Super recommended. I would have another experience with them.
