We had the best experience with our guide and owner, Joe. The night before we were so disappointed that we had gotten a cancellation notice from the Pikes Peak Cog Railroad. At 11:30 pm I found and booked a tour online with Joe. Very promptly the next morning I was emailed and texted that our tour would be a 3:30pm. We were so happy because the tour would be the last activity of our vacation. Joe picked up our family of six at the designated location. On our way up to the top Joe stopped at numerous pull offs so we could get out and look around and take pictures. He was very informative and fun. He talked about the vegetation and animals that are found at different altitudes. He talked about the race that happens every year and how it is to drive up and down the mountain. He made the tour fun for the kids talking about Sasquatch and the lure of donuts at the top. Once at the top he let us out to have time to explore. We ate the donuts, took the pictures and when the kids had had enough he even entertained them a little while my husband and I soaked in few more minutes of the indescribable view. We were comfortable in the van and felt very safe with Joe driving. I would recommend this tour to everyone. We were so thankful that the railroad cancelled us and we found Joe to take us up. We would not have had such an enjoyable experience on the train. It was definitely a highlight of our vacation!

Joe was amazing. I can’t really say what the nest part of out tour was. Pines Peak is incredibly beautiful . Joe is knowledgeable and passionate about the area . He went above and beyond and even took un on a drive to some other areas . He also took lots of i tires of us.

We were looking for a smaller more personalized tour instead of the big bus. We found it in Buggy Tours LLC. Joe was the driver(and owner) was an excellent tour guide and safe driver. He was very accommodating answering all our questions. Unfortunately we were not able to go to the top as the road was closed at the 16 mile mark. It was cloudy and hailing causing the road to get slippery. Joe thought we were disappointed but we weren’t instead of cutting the morning short he showed us other sites of Pikes Peak such as the reservoirs which we would not have seen on a big bus tour. I would highly recommend this tour, especially if you are budget conscious.
