Exploring DC by bike gives you the opportunity to experience DC’s iconic monuments and museums in a personable and approachable way. With your own personal guide, you can relax, enjoy the city's sites so much more and we'll help bring history to life! Adults and children of all ages can enjoy riding bikes together; smaller children may be chauffeured safely in our custom "Precious Cargo Bike" to carry children ages 2 to 10 and/or on a tag-along. We will be happy to add other sites of interest for you and your kids. Always a favorite DC experience for the entire crew.

Jeff is incredible! We had a large party- 10 total, and 6 were kids! He found a way to include us all. He has a unique bike with a basket in the front that our little ones loved, and a couple of tag along bikes for the younger riders. He is a gifted story teller- we learned unique and interesting details, through his story telling of how many of the landmarks and monuments came to be. And bonus- he's a great photographer! He snapped some really cool perspective pics for us at the Washington Monument. If you're in DC this is the #1 thing to do.

Talk about a party - indeed! The "precious cargo bike" I customized for carrying my own twins when they were little, is still such a fun bike to chauffeur my youngest guests around DC. I also loved how the three younger kids (8 and under) took turns riding in the front of the cargo bike and riding the two tagalongs. I'm delighted you all had such a fun time and enjoyed learning some new things too. Thank you for the praise!

The first thing we realized when Jeff arrived at our hotel on time (he comes to your hotel with the bikes which is super convenient) was that he was really nice. He took out a map and helped us get oriented before we started, and asked us if there was anything particular that we wanted to see. Jeff was so knowledgeable, there wasn't a question that we asked that he couldn't answer and top up with multiple funny/interesting/historical stories to add color to the answer. He was equally adept at tailoring answers to age and interest level and was incredibly generous with his time making sure we saw every last thing we were curious about. He was patient with our children and carried snacks which came in handy a couple of hours in. He made us feel safe cycling on the street with our two children and tailored the trip for our ability levels without sacrificing anything and knew where the cleanest public toilets were whenever we needed to go. Jeff gave us an active, funny, and educational experience that was one of the best we've ever had on a family trip.

Wow - one of the best experiences ever on a family trip!? I'm flattered, honored, and so happy you had such a great experience. While it took a few ninja moves to keep your boys from wanting to take each other out early on, I was so impressed by their curiosity and had such a fun time with all four of you. It was also so fun to know you wife had been in DC a few years back and for her to discover so much too. Still cracking up how impressed your boys were with the clean toilets AND I trust a bit of the education stood out more. Thank you again for letting me show your wonderful family around DC!

My family of four had a super fun and educational tour with Jeff. I highly recommend other DC residents take some time to be tourists in our city and book a tour. Every aspect of our experience was great, including the bikes, the stops, the guide, the snacks and water bottles, the windbreaker offered to my daughter when she got cold, and the photos Jeff took and shared with us at the end of the tour. We made some great memories, and I'm sure you will too!

Whether it is a special memorials they have passed hundreds of times and didn't know about or a back story or historic significance to iconic sights they know well - I love sharing my research, knowledge, and love of DC with locals and visitors alike!
