Escape the ordinary, just 8 miles from the French Quarter! Relax and leave your cares behind while you explore the lake side of New Orleans on a private 2 hour sail. Hop aboard a 47' luxury Beneteau sailboat called "Roux Stir", named for our love of a heartwarming New Orleans gumbo. Maximum 6 guests please.

Once onboard, all guests receive complimentary white wine, local craft beer, and light snacks. Listen to the boat glide through the water or enjoy your favorite tunes via Spotify.

Enjoy a 2 hour invigorating sail on the Southshore of historic & expansive Lake Pontchartrain, where you may spot a brown pelican flying overhead, and see the longest bridge in the world over water, the Causeway.

Captain Doug, a local New Orleanian with a passion for sailing, will ensure your safety. All proper safety equipment, life vests, and clean restrooms onboard.

Doug is super friendly and extremely professional. The ride, the view, the wine, the beer, everything was amazing. You can also bring your own wine and/or beverages. I suggest you keep your party small, to get the most out of this experience, two to four person max. The sunset view was breathtaking.

I would recommend this experience to anyone. This was the best part of our trip to New Orleans. Our hosts were exceptional and worked very hard to ensure our experience was first-rate. It was educational, fun, and relaxing. If we return to New Orleans, I will definitely do this again.

This tour was so much fun! The owners of the sailboat are so knowledgeable on sailing and work so wonderfully as a team. They were very friendly and we had the best time just chatting and joking around. They had a great selection of snacks and beverages. The sunset was breathtaking. I can’t wait to return to do this tour again. I highly recommend it.
