We will explore the original suburbs of the old town… the hip Marigny, the funky Bywater and Bayou St John, the true gateway to New Orleans. We will ride through Tremé, the birthplace of Jazz, and so much more.

Marc will cover the entire city, the American sector of uptown, and cities now turned neighborhoods of Lafayette and the Irish Channel.

Your guide knows all the right people and has both relationships and insight into this rich culture.

What a fantastic tour! Get to see the real New Orleans by a guide that not only grew up here, but was a restauranteur for decades in NOLA. The tour took us to the French Quarter and then into the various suburbs and districts. Well worth it!

If we could give Marc at Nola DeTours 1000 stars we would! Marc is a native and an expert regarding the history of New Orleans and shared so much meaningful information about his great city and it's Parishes. Our tour was approximately 4 hours long which our party of six truly appreciated and enjoyed every minute.

This is an A+ experience from start to finish. Kristen spoke with me by phone and explained the tour options. She was very personable and made arrangements for our four hour private tour with Marc. Marc is a native son and has created a one of a kind tour of this beautiful city. We traveled to the many neighborhoods encompassing New Orleans and were given interesting historical highlights and insights along the way. Marc clearly loves his city and knows how to share this with tourists. I would imagine that people who travel to New Orleans do not experience many of the sights that we saw along the way. Marc also made suggestions for how to continue to enjoy the city during the rest of our stay. We are looking forward to returning to New Orleans in order to take one of Marc’s dining tours.
