We decided, last minute, to take the Vortex jeep tour. It was great fun, very educational and our tour guide, Dominick, was very knowledgeable and an interesting story-teller. I particularly enjoyed being able to get out of the jeep and feel the energy of these special places. Well worth the time. Next time, I hope to have a side seat in keep so that I could hear better.

My niece and I took this Jeep tour on a windy afternoon, with Dominique as our tour guide. Dominique was well-informed and communicated his knowledge in a friendly manner. We enjoyed the off-road part and the places where we could walk around and experience the vortex in each area. We very much appreciated Dominique's knowledge and friendliness. This was well-worth the time and money!

When our balloon ride was cancelled due to incoming weather we were back at our hotel by 9am. Hmmm what to do with the day? Luckily a Groupon perusal gave us Earth Wisdom Jeep Tours. You can choose form many tour types from rough off road to staying on the road. We opted for a not too rough tour with Vortex explanations. The office was helpful and the whole process of meeting our guide was easy. Larry - a real transplanted New Yorker character -was terrific! He had us out into the hills and backroads in a flash. His commentary was engaging and thoughtful. We walked up a-ways to beautiful vistas and saw all types of different native trees and shrubs. Larry and Earth Wisdom saved the day. After the tour and local lunch a huge storm rolled in complete with deafening thunder and brilliant lightening. Wow.
