I took my 12 year old nephew on the Adventure. Chris (not the owner) was our outstanding Daddy Duck as all those of us on the tour (6 or 7 boats) were the ducklings following along. Chris's instructions were clear - same with his narration which is delivered (clearly) via the speaker on each boat. Because I was there, my nephew was able to drive the boat all on his own. This is not Disney's Autopia here, you really are the driver/captain! So.much.fun. We laughed and laughed and laughed the whole time. It was fantastic; about a 100 minute tour of San Diego Bay. Very up close and personal with the sea lions on the bait barges out by Point Loma and the USS Midway at Broadway pier, same with the other vessels that are part of the Maritime Museum. The office staff (Christine/a???) was so chatty and friendly, too. Highly recommend this attraction and we cannot wait to go again! (Most all boats are yellow but I was told the red one (slightly larger) goes faster due to bigger motor. I believe it, the driver was zipping in and out of traffic like a pro!)

My husband and I really enjoyed this tour! We weren't sure how the "tour" part would work with everyone on separate boats, but a speaker on each boat with the guide on the radio worked well, except at the highest speeds. Our group had some "challenging" people on it, with one boat unable to keep up and another going off on their own all of the time. Our guide, Nathan, did a great job handling it all, while still giving those who stayed with him and followed directions equal attention. I agree that it was interesting and well worth it to see another side of the San Diego area. I would highly recommend this tour!

Great blend of sites and pushing the throttle all they way. Stop at at major points such as the seals and USS Midway but they leave enough room for you to open your boat all they way. The 13' craft are pretty quick for their size and anyone can operate them. The guides keep an eye on things although a bit hard a times to hear him when we were all speeding along. A must to do when you are in San Diego.
