We took this tour last week (Oct 10 2007) and we were very happy that we did. Tour guide and owner Linda Lee, was very knowledgeable, friendly and knew the answers to all of our questions. The tour takes about 2 hours and covers most of the high points of chinatown. Linda took us to a fortune cookie factory where you could buy ($3.00 ) a big bag of hot un- folded cookies, yum yum. We also went to a local chinese food market and seafood store and a chinese pharmacy. It was just great. Plus we had a great dim sum lunch with Linda. This tour is not to be missed.

While on a short vacation to the San Franciso area, we decided to do something we had always wanted to do. We took a walking tour of Chinatown. We chose All About Chinatown Walking Tours, by host and owner Linda Lee. It was such a postive expenience, it is something we would do again. Linda was very knowledgeable, friendly, welcoming, and knew answers to all of our questions. We toured a Fortune Cookie factory, were we sampled fresh, hot off the oven cookies. We visited a Buddahist Temple, walked down alleys where you would not normally go. A visit to a Chinese pharmacy is a must. Linda took us to a Chinese grocery store and to a Chinese meat market which was well, enlightening to say the least. And other sites in Chinatown. All topped off by a Dim Sum lunch. If you only have a short amount of time in San Francisco this is a must tour to take.
