Our first stop on our tour and maybe one of the best, Quail Springs is a playground of rocks and boulders which are said to be some of the oldest in the park, around 1.7 billion years old, much older than the dinosaur. Fun stop, great for photos and walking around some old granite boulders.

Banana Cracks Rock
We will take you straight to the big rocks of Hemmingway called Banana Cracks. Advanced rock climbers climb these boulders but for us we can just look at them and marvel at their beauty. Lots of beautiful Joshua Trees and giant boulders which you can walk on and take pictures.

Hidden Valley
Hidden Valley is the main area of Joshua Tree National Park and is full of enormous rock formations, campers, and rock climbers. We will stop here and take a walk around and explore some of the famous giant metamorphic rocks.

Keys View
One of the best views of Coachella Valley and the little San Bernardino mountains. Close to 5500 feet in elevation Keys View is one of the highest elevations in Joshua Tree National Park and one of the best views. Mesmerizing views of the Coachella Valley and the Transverse mountains. On a clear day you can see the Salton Sea , the San Andreas Fault lines, and Palm Springs. Incredible view.

Well worth it. The tour guide Spencer was knowledgeable and considerate. Can’t imagine doing this any other way.

Absolutely beautiful Park! Frank was very knowledgeable and was a great tour guide. We got out on several occasions to scramble on the rocks and also hiked through Hidden Valley. Loved it, thanks Frank!
