The wife and I traveled in for our 20th anniversary and my work conference and I surprised her with the USS Midway tour. We had an absolute blast! This is such an amazing piece of history, skipping the line and having tickets before we arrived was even better! We look forward to ckkkng back to Dan Diego and doing it again in the future.

Amazing place. Volunteers are retired vets. Their knowledge and stories are amazing. Lots to learn and see, great history lessons.

We visited the USS Midway Museum on Tuesday, October 11, 2022. My husband and I spent 5+ hours there and enjoyed every minute. Everything is interesting and well done. I highly recommend the guided island tour which takes you into the Captain's bridge, Pri Fly, and the navigational room. Our docent, Ed, was very interesting and I loved hearing his stories. He made everyone feel at home and did a great job explaining everything to us. It was a bit of a climb for this 70-year old woman, but it was worth it. So glad we visited!!! We were told that the museum often has scout troops on board and they get to spend the night there. What an excellent way to ignite the imagination of future sailors.
