We just happened to be in port on Veterans Day and decided to take the Midway Aircraft Carrier tour, which was great as since it was Veterans Day they had all kinds of special acclivities aboard the ship along with many tour guides. Was an amazing experience, if you enjoy Navy Ships or Aircraft carrier's then you should really experience this tour. Would guess that about 20 - 25% of the ship can be explored, that they have restored, from the flight deck, to the aircraft hanger, to the conning tower, and inside for the mess hall for the sailors, officers, and the command team, as well as medical bay, dentist, operating center, mail, chief's area, and many others as well that have been restored. They also have a large gift shop, a cafe, and many photo opportunities, they also have about 30 - 35 aircraft on the flight deck as well. Overall a "Great" experience, and well worth the cost, we spent about 4 hrs and still somewhat rushed through some areas ...... pretty amazing to see ..
