My partner, knowing how much I enjoy unique experiences, purchased online our tickets days in advance and not sure if they are cheaper than when purchased at their booth but it was surely much faster, maybe because there were not as many people as they turned out as we left:
- we parked the car in the empty car park near the aquarium (opposite Coca Cola) just before 9am as we went first to the VIP CNN tour (I highly recommend for you to do it too)
- we showed our bar code at Coca Cola and thankfully there was no queue as we arrived around mid day (long queues as we left though)
- we waited inside some 15min in the reception area (where they also give you cans of Coca Cola to take away with you) for their fixed intro (being ushered in a small theatre type area where you stand and listen to a guy while being surrounded by what you came to associate with Coca Cola) then you can go at your own pace visiting different areas
- we saw: the Vault of the secret formula, Bottle Works, the Loft, Pop culture gallery etc - all detailed in the map I attached here
- the Vault is simply a history of attempts to recreate Coca Cola, of course not giving you the recipee, so just like this area, other areas detailed 'lots..... but not much' aka fun for the kids but not really a learning process for the older ones
- they even have got a miniaturised process of making Coca cola, so the technical side of this was more interesting, besides the section where they detailed a history of Coca Cola together with bottle styles, designs, advertising from the past where the conversation runs 'do you remember this?'
- probably everyone's favourite is Taste it area where you can try different flavours from around the world grouped on continents with 8 repetitive countries on each continent area..... where teens make some hilarious stupid mixes from all the countries in a cup hoping to get a flavour of each country? Not sure how their brain worked, but it was hilarious to watch, minus the poor cleaners who had to sticky floors after them every several minutes - I suspect in summer time would be worse
- lots of toilets here and there and nothing after your pass their shop and you have to get out, so plan carefully
