  • We do not guarantee pickup for all hotels. Even if your hotel is on the list, there may be a chance you'll need to meet at an alternate location. Any guest staying outside of Phoenix, Scottsdale or Tempe will be required to meet at an alternate location to be determined by supplier. Tour supplier contact details will be provided on your pre-paid voucher.
  • The Grand Canyon South Rim is a 7,000 foot elevation, please note this if you have concerns about altitude.
  • There is NOT a restroom on the van. Comfort stops are made throughout the day.

Today we had a truly enjoyable experience with Detours America. Diane was our tour guide host and was courteous, professional, extremely knowledgeable and kind. The tour van with captain chairs was clean, roomy and safe. There was time to explore, take pics, shop and for breaks giving us time to buy lunch and beverages. A long 12 hour+ day that was filled with fun times a good memories.

Everything about this tour was wonderful. Mark H, our driver and guide, made this tour an extraordinary experience for us. We arrived at the Grand Canyon early in the day and, even though it was spring break and there were lots of visitors, he was familiar with entries that had no waiting lines. Mark took great care and pride in providing us with lots of relevant information, mixed up with funny stories. The views at the Grand Canyon and Sedona were magnificent. This was my second tour with Detours. The first tour, and tour guide, were also excellent. It is also woth mentioning the two tour coordinators from Detour, who contacted me a few days in advance to verify all the information to make sure the day ran smoothly. I fell in love with Arizona. When I come back I will take other tours with them. I highly recommend this company.
