Just like our regular tours, you can swim alongside manatees for even longer. Only 6 people per vessel allows for a more personal experience The price includes all equipment, full 5mm wet suits, mask, snorkel, towel service, hot chocolate, coffee, hot showers, boat coats and heated changing facility.

This is one of those experiences you really want to enjoy. Swimming with the manatees has been something we have wanted to do since forever. The experience, sadly, did not live up to the expectations. If you want a serene and picturesque experience this is NOT the trip for you. The website photos are very enticing, and they are what drew me in. The reality is that you will be swimming in crowded canals with boats, kayaks, and other swimmers all bouncing around into each other. You do not get to go into the crystal clear springs. The canals are not as clear as the pictures indicate and it is just a crammed and overwhelming experience. Once a boat finds the manatees other boats quickly swarm the area and all peace and serenity are gone. Will you swim with manatees? Yes, most likely. Will it look like the clear crystal spring water in their web photos, most likely not. Will it be a quiet and peaceful adventure? No it will not. If you have ever been to Yellowstone you know what happens when a buffalo crosses the road. Everyone stops, cars back up for miles, and all tranquility is lost. That is what this experience is like. Now, in all fairness...the capt and mate were very nice. Boat was clean. They put us on manatees. They did their job in a very professional manner. No complaints with them. I am just more interested in a genuine experience where I can enjoy nature without being surrounded by hoards of people, boats, screaming kids, etc. My two cents....

Captains Dallas and Steve gave us an amazing manatee tour. We interacted for a long time with a baby manatee and that moment single-handedly made my whole year! This trip was for my birthday and Dallas and Steve certainly made it special and worth while. I would definitely recommend Plantation for manatee tours, and I hope someday I will be back for another one!

This was my first experience with manatees and one of my bucket list items. My husband and I went out with Captains Mike and Misty and 2 other couples. I tried to set my expectations low because every trip is different and they’re wild animals so you can’t guarantee what you’re going to get. That being said, my mind was blown! It was more amazing than I ever imagined. Our captains were both excellent and knew where to go to get the best experiences and coached us before going into the water so we wouldn’t scare them. (And also while I was in the water since I kept getting so excited.) we saw several adults and babies. One of the babies came over to me and started sucking my fingers! I was so excited I started to cry. This trip was the highlight of my vacation and I’m already making plans to go back next year. Even if it’s only 1/2 as good next time, it will be well worth the money. I highly recommend the VIP tour which is limited to 6 people. Thank you Plantation Adventures for making my dream come true!
