Take a day trip from San Francisco to Yosemite National Park, described as the crown jewel of the country's many splendid national parks. You will be guided on a coach tour to highlights such as Bridalveil Falls, Tunnel View, El Capitan, and Yosemite Falls, with a stop for a 1-mile (1.6-km) walk into a grove of giant sequoias*.

Our vans only take 15 passengers, so we are able to stop at more places with less time for loading and unloading of passengers.

*weather permitting, and the hike is not recommended for people with health issues

The trip is accessible for most of the tour. However, at the end of the day, we go on a hike to see the giant sequoias. This is NOT advised for people with back, heart or knee problems. It is also not wheelchair accessible. Unfortunately, this is only way to see the sequoias.
There is a possibility that the Giant Sequoia hike will not be available due to winter weather conditions.

We had a nice trip despite the rainy weather. Thanks Kurt, for his guidance and support throughout the day. I would defend be eager to repeat that experience!

Alberto was a great guide. Explained a lot. Very knowledgeable and informative. It was a beautiful day. Didn’t see any animals besides a bird but all good.

The sights of the spectacularly beautiful Yosemite speak for themselves, but this day tour from downtown San Francisco packs in about as much in one day as it's possible to do, with all the main sights in Yosemite valley and the giant sequoia trees included. What's also included though is a selection of Yosemite and climbing-themed films playing in the minibus en route, including the iconic Free Solo which describes the first free solo ascent of El Capitan. Having had these films played beforehand really brings you into the history and meaning of the area rather than just seeing a few big rocks, and brings an extra element to the tour that goes above and beyond the description. Kurt our driver guide was a real cool dude and great fun throughout, providing plenty of snippets of information and always on had for a cheeky grin and to play cameraman for whoever wanted a photo which was, let's face it, everyone. Overall for a Yosemite day tour from SF, you won't find much better. Hotel pick up was also available from a variety of hotels across downtown, which isn't clear in the description, and confirmed via whatsapp the night before.
