Take a day trip from San Francisco to Yosemite National Park, described as the crown jewel of the country's many splendid national parks. You will be guided on a coach tour to highlights such as Bridalveil Falls, Tunnel View, El Capitan, and Yosemite Falls, with a stop for a 1-mile (1.6-km) walk into a grove of giant sequoias*.

Our vans only take 15 passengers, so we are able to stop at more places with less time for loading and unloading of passengers.

*weather permitting, and the hike is not recommended for people with health issues

The trip is accessible for most of the tour. However, at the end of the day, we go on a hike to see the giant sequoias. This is NOT advised for people with back, heart or knee problems. It is also not wheelchair accessible. Unfortunately, this is only way to see the sequoias.
There is a possibility that the Giant Sequoia hike will not be available due to winter weather conditions.

Before booking this tour, I questioned whether a 15-hour day on the road after traveling from the east coast, before leaving on our cruise would be worth it. I'm so glad the answer was yes. We had the perfect day, the weather was amazing, the views were incredible, and waterfalls were flowing at the end of November. Phil Siegel was an awesome tour guide and blessed us with his love and knowledge of the area. I am also grateful we saw wildlife abounds on this tour including a bobcat, some deer and a bear.

Excellent way to see a number of parts in Yosemite National Park (Tunnel View photo stop; Bridalveil Falls photo stop; Yosemite Falls vantage point Sentinel Bridge photo stop; El Capitan spotting; hiking around Yosemite Valley to Lower Yosemite falls and Swinging Bridge by the Merced River; mirrored Yosemite Valley viewpoint photo stop) and Giant Sequoias Tuolomne Grove hiking in just one day with a breakfast/dinner stopover in Oakdale. In addition, our tour guide Victor has been excellent in driving and giving out very detailed info and interesting facts on each individual sight. Above all, his punctuality and his sassy jokes are the best.

Originally my wife and I had thought of driving on our own. Glad that we took this tour instead. Nothing like watching the fantastic sights from our minivan than watching the roads if I were driving! Brian our driver and guide was really good. He is a 10/10. The tour was very well organised, Brian was very engaging, even showing entertaining and informative videos during the drive. The small group size was a definite plus - not much waiting around and ample opportunities to interact with each other if one felt like it. Yosemite is a "must visit" item when in California. Our tour was on 10 dec - the weather was fine although it can get quite cold, so do layer up, and it was not too crowded.
