This 9 Hour Guided Tour begins with a scenic drive through the Elwha Valley and around Lake Crescent to reach the Sol Duc River Valley. At the Sol Duc, we will enjoy a two mile guided hike to Sol Duc Falls, one of Olympic National Park's most picturesque waterfalls. After exploring the Sol Duc, our guests will wrap up the morning explorations at Lake Crescent, a stunning, glacier-carved lake that is outlined by beautiful mountains. From the historic Lake Crescent Lodge, guests can enjoy time on trail hiking or enjoy the views from the well-positioned lodge. After stopping in Port Angeles, our tour continues with a scenic drive from sea-level to 5,242 feet elevation atop Hurricane Ridge. Upon arrival, our guide will lead a guided hike along the subalpine nature trails to enjoy views of the meadows, peaks, and river valleys of the Olympic Mountains.

  • Our meet-up location is in Port Angeles, WA, which is the main epicenter for exploring Olympic National Park. Please note that this is about a 3 hour one-way trip from Seattle.

My boyfriend decided to do this hike during our stay on Vancouver Island and I was happy we did! We were picked up close to the ferry terminal and were greeted by our welcoming and funny guide, Dana. The drive to the park itself was very scenic and Dana gave us a lot of information on the animals, the road itself, etc. The views were astonishing and the hike itself wasn't hard at all. You were constantly rewarded by the nicest views! Dana was an awesome guide and we had a lot of interesting conversations with her. Thanks again!

I went on a solo trip to Hurricane Ridge with Olympic Hiking Company and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The owner Tommy is professional, kind and knowledgeable, as is Dana. They both took pictures for me and watched over me. I felt very safe with them. I’d highly recommend this hiking company. I saw some spectacular views that I wouldn’t have been able to see on my own. I also enjoyed the lunch option. I’ll be back and I’m telling all my friends to use this company. Thanks for helping me make memories to last a lifetime!
