We signed up for the trolley experience, taking into account what the website indicated pre-booking - which was that wine tasting fees were extra and ranged from $5-$10 per person per winery. Upon paying and getting our confirmation email - the disclosure indicated that fees ranged from $10-$20 per person per winery. Of course - our first winery stop we were charged $20 per person, so spent almost as much on that winery as we anticipated paying for all the stops. Felt a bit like bait and switch. Also - some of the stops were a bit dragged out - we didn't return until after 5 pm, which ended the tour on a bit of a sour note for me.

Thank you very much for your most accurate update regarding tasting fees. Thanks to you, we are in the process of updating our website to reflect the increased tasting fees. Although we have no control over what a winery charges for tasting fees, we do take our Sonoma Valley Wine Trolley guests to wineries that are most appealing and attractive, have a varied architecture, interesting tour and tasting reflective of our great Sonoma wineries, and are very affordable, too. There was no 'bait and switch,' just not a newer update for summer 2015 pricing that missed our review between the website and the reservation system. We apologize for your disappointment but do hope, ultimately, that you had a very fine time on the Sonoma Valley Wine Trolley and in Wine Country.
