Of all the days to go wine tasting, we picked a blustery, rainy day. Since this would have been no fun on an open air trolley, they substituted a coach (small bus). It would have been lovely if they would have told us to look for a coach instead of a trolley, but we connected anyways.
Our driver, Eric, seemed to be knowledgeable about the area and vineyards. The wineries were set up for us when we arrived which is super nice. We visited 4 wineries: Imagery, Benziger, Chateau Ste Jean and VJB. With the light crowds, rain and small tour group we could have fit another winery in and not spent so much time at Imagery.
Taking the trolley (or coach) is a much more relaxing and safer way to go wine tasting. We enjoyed meeting the other people on the tour. Would love to see more route options for future trips to Sonoma.

Pasty,
Thank you for the comments. Sometimes we do have to offer a enclosed vehicle during the rainy seasons and at some instances is at the last minute. Sorry for any confusion it might have caused. We do offer a different route option every other day in Sonoma, please feel free to join us again on one of the off days where we explore different wineries. Thanks for riding.
