This fun and adventurous tour offers a unique way to explore the Sonoran Desert. The UTV is perfect for a family to hit the sandy trails. See Saguaro, barrel and prickly pear cactus as well as dozens of other plant life. You may even spot a bald eagle or a mule deer! This is a great way to see the beautiful Sonoran Desert while having the adventure of a lifetime!

Tonto National Forest

You will meet us in the parking area at the trail head, once there you will check in, get kitted with your helmet and goggles, and go over a quick safety briefing so that you feel good about how to operate your vehicle. Once everyone is ready to go you will follow your guide into the off road trails in the Tonto National Forest area where you will ride for 2 hours covering about 20 miles of trail. Your guide will reorder the group after the first 10 minutes to be sure everyone can ride at their own pace, the vehicles can reach speeds of 40 mph, but not everyone likes to go that fast! You will traverse sandy washes and blow up the dust while viewing the beautiful Sonoran Desert scenery. Your guide will periodically stop you to give pointers on the upcoming terrain, make sure you are drinking water, and take photos of everyone in action. After the tour you will return to the starting point where your car will be waiting for you.

Devo was an amazing guide-- he took the time to show the machines to everyone and to make sure we all felt comfortable. On the trail he did a great job of keeping track of everyone and pointing out fun things along the way. My sisters and I loved the UTV and were able to swap out drivers so we all got a chance to try. We were visiting from Utah and was out first time seeing saguaros and the high desert. It was absolutely amazing to get so up close and personal.

The meeting point was well marked, thorough instructions and we had a great time on the trails. Guides were knowledgeable and adapted well to a diverse group of ages. Highly recommend this adventure! Our group had three adults, 16, 13 and 11.

Overall, we had an amazing time. Tom our guide was extremely fun to be around and very informative throughout our whole trip. The UTVs were pretty much new, the trails were thrilling, and the sunset was breathtaking. I wanted so badly to give this trip a 5 start rating but didn't because the disclaimer sent AFTER our purchase of the trip states that Uber/Lift is unable to map directions to the start point. We ended up having to use Uber to a casino location 15 miles away from the meeting spot. Our Uber driver was so nice and agreed to drive us another 15 miles as we brainstormed together to find the right location. When we were done, we could not find an Uber/Lift to pick us up (I guess no one wants to drive to the dessert), but our guide came to our rescue and dropped us off maybe 10 miles away were we called for an Uber. So, keep in mind if you're not driving yourself, you might have a hard time finding transport. The company does offer transportation but it's not on a regular.
