Tonto National Forest

Once you meet your guide at the WeKoPa resort you will head drive about 10 minutes and enter the offroad trails in the Tonto National Forest in the ultimate off road vehicle - the Hummer H1, where you will spend 2 hours traversing river beds and sandy washes, while learning all about the splendor of the Sonoran Desert. You expert guide will offer history of the area, as well as teaching you all about the cactus and fauna. You will stop to view points of interest, drink water, take photos, and have snacks. Once you have finished the H1 Hummer desert tour you will be brought back to your car at the starting point.

John was an amazing, informative and skilled tour guide. We felt we were in great hands and his knowledge of the area and skill in maneuvering the landscape was amazing! Highly recommend this tour and we'll be trying other ones next time!

My wife and i had an amazing time on the tour no question. John made sure of it. He was instrumental in getting us the best views of the desert, sunset, explaining about desert habitats and Arizona life in general it was AWESOME.We picked up a lot of good and usefully information from John man knows his desert!!!!!!!! Highly recommended and next time we are in Arizona will do it again!!!!!!! Also John took a lot of good pictures of us much better quality then our own phones.
