This excursion is designed for people who have never tried diving to get a feel for it. It consists of an in depth theory lesson, the practice of some shallow water skills, and then an open water dive. No prior dive experience is necessary. If you do enjoy it as much as we hope you will, you can use your dive and your skills towards the PADI Open Water certification. You must complete a medical questionnaire (we will provide) prior to your excursion and have the ability to swim. Previous experience snorkeling is recommended.

Diving within 24 hours of flying is not recommended. All participants will be required to complete a health questionnaire prior to diving. Some pre-existing medical conditions (eg asthma, heart conditions, etc) may prevent you from diving, please consult your doctor

I had an outstanding experience diving with Mike from NeverDry Divers during my time in Maui. I hadn't dove in nearly 4 years so I requested a refresher, which was incredibly helpful. Mike's information was comprehensive and succinct and brought me up to speed for the day's dive. I lucked out and was able to work one-on-one with Mike, both before and after our dive. He emphasized that my comfort and satisfaction with the dive was his foremost priority and this shone through in the whole experience. We were able to see some incredible fish, a few eels, and smaller sharks. The boat we traveled on was clean and organized, and the day really couldn't have gone better. This was thanks to Mike and Jennie of NeverDry.

Amazing time. This was my first dive that was not a part of my certification, and it was awesome. Mike was a great guide, pointed out tons of cool stuff and took really dope photos that he shared with us. A very chill guy and chill experience. We saw tons of fish, white tipped and grey reef sharks, octopus, eels, cucumbers, and more. Over 100 feet of visibility. This will surely have spoiled me for all future dives.

Micheal is wonderful. So knowledgeable about the ocean and a great dive master. I had only a few dives under my belt but he was great. I felt like a fish in no time. We saw great fish, turtles, coral and sharks. He adjusted our dives to the conditions so we had amazing experiences. Highly recommended and hope to be back soon
