This excursion is designed for people who have never tried diving to get a feel for it. It consists of an in depth theory lesson, the practice of some shallow water skills, and then an open water dive. No prior dive experience is necessary. If you do enjoy it as much as we hope you will, you can use your dive and your skills towards the PADI Open Water certification. You must complete a medical questionnaire (we will provide) prior to your excursion and have the ability to swim. Previous experience snorkeling is recommended.

Diving within 24 hours of flying is not recommended. All participants will be required to complete a health questionnaire prior to diving. Some pre-existing medical conditions (eg asthma, heart conditions, etc) may prevent you from diving, please consult your doctor

Mike was an absolute delight to dive with! Very attentive, professional, skilled and sensitive to needs. He was able to accommodate different experience levels on the same boat dive! And the photos he takes of sea life and the divers is an incredible bonus!

A great experience for first time divers. Mike is great with kids alowing them to progress at their own pace and comfort level. It was a tough day weatherwise but Mike drove up and down the coast til we found a suitable spot. Easy booking and great communication.

Awesome experience. We are a family of four with no experience, so this may not apply to someone looking for an intense diving experience, although I can see Mike being great at that also. This was easier and more fun than expected. Mike was even able to get my multi-phobic spouse to be comfortable with the gear and go down 25 feet!
