This excursion is designed for people who have never tried diving to get a feel for it. It consists of an in depth theory lesson, the practice of some shallow water skills, and then an open water dive. No prior dive experience is necessary. If you do enjoy it as much as we hope you will, you can use your dive and your skills towards the PADI Open Water certification. You must complete a medical questionnaire (we will provide) prior to your excursion and have the ability to swim. Previous experience snorkeling is recommended.

NeverDry is the best dive outfit on Maui. I’ve done Maui dozens of times, and after finding NeverDry 5 years ago, I do all my shore dives with them.

I can't say enough about the great experience we had with NeverDry. We are certified divers, but we wanted to take our three children for their first discovery dive. Michael was the perfect mix of laid back and attentive, allowing our kids to feel at ease and us to feel assured they were in good hands. He was patient with each child, giving them as much time as they needed to get comfortable in the water and providing immediate assistance when anyone had trouble. He even held onto our 11-year-old for most of the dive to keep him from floating to the surface, and our son absolutely loved that. After the dive, Michael provided us with an awesome set of pictures that will help us remember our first family dive forever. The snacks afterward included our first experience with passion fruit. YUM! Professional, yet fun and relaxed. This was an A+ experience for us!

Michael and Jennie are absolutely fantastic. They made it Easy to schedule time and were extremely communicative throughout the process. I took my 10 year old for his first scuba experience and Michael made it so enjoyable. When we come back, we will 100% schedule more dives.
