Alongside a costumed guide, you visit cemeteries, the ground of the Old Fort, and other haunted locations to discover the little-known legends that surround the romantic venue. This small-group tour is limited in order to maintain an atmosphere suitable for the ghost walk.

  • A Ghostly Encounter’s Storm Policy (as follows)
  • 1. A Ghostly Encounter tours operate rain or shine. Florida weather changes rapidly and is unpredictable, and we monitor our weather prior to all tours.
  • 2. If lighting is present in the area: we will delay the start of the tour for 20 minutes to give the storm time to pass, then proceed as normal.
  • 3. If lightening remains present in the area, management may decide to reschedule the tour. Guests will be moved to the following evening’s tours or to the nearest date convenient with the group.
  • 4. If rescheduling is not convenient, each guest will be provided a voucher for a future A Ghostly Encounter tour, subject to availability. For offer to be valid, guest must present the voucher directly to our office staff upon returning to St. Augustine or speak directly with the office staff to reschedule (not through a third-party booking site). Please remember to bring your voucher with you. Lost or forgotten vouchers will not be honored; however, vouchers do not expire.

Our ghost host Lauren was very fun and knowledgeable all throughout our 90 min tour. It was a perfect night to walk around downtown St Augustine and learn all about the gruesome horrors that have taken place over the years. It certainly did not feel like 90 minutes and I could have listened to more of Lauren's stories if given the time. My husband and I had so much fun on this tour. And for only $30 you really can't go wrong with this kind of experience.

Hippie is a great story teller! He was energenic kept his audience engaged. I have been on several ghost tours. I enjoyed this one most of all!

Hippie is amazing!! He is beyond knowledgeable, and the 90-minute tour just flew. Very entertaining and passionate about the paranormal. Learned a ton about the history of St. Augustine and the local haunts. Highly recommend this tour! Hippie takes the time to explain the 4 types of haunting and the entire backstory of each location. Fabulous walking tour and the appropriate amount of time spent at each location.
