Upon arriving, receive an in-depth explanation of one of the most mysterious creatures in the ocean. Join your professional/certified guides in the water as you snorkel with the majestic hahalua (manta rays). Snorkel equipment, instruction, wetsuits and swim noodles are provided. Complimentary water, juice, soft drinks, and hot cocoa included.

A minimum of 2 people per booking is required
Any tour participants that are getting in the water MUST KNOW HOW TO SWIM without the assistance of a flotation device
Children under the age of 5 are not allowed in the water and MUST be accompanied by an adult on the vessel at all times
Guests are asked to check-in at our KONASTYLE retail outlet 45 MINUTES PRIOR to your scheduled departure time. We are located in the Kona Square Shopping Complex. Our address is 75 5669 Alii Drive, #1107, Kailua-Kona, HI 96740
We offer discounted self parking at the Courtyard Marriott King Kamehameha Hotel. Parking charge is $13 for up to 5.5 hours. Please remember to bring your parking ticket with you at check-in.
PLEASE NOTE that trip start times VARY throughout the year to accommodate for the time changes of the setting sun.
PLEASE NOTE that full-face snorkel masks are NOT allowed to be used by guests
Not recommended for travelers that are not strong swimmers. If guest is not a competent swimmer (as determined by the Captain and/or crew), they will be directed to immediately return to the vessel. In such instances the guest will NOT be refunded
Not recommended for travelers that are prone to seasickness / motion sickness
Guests weighing more than 300 lb (136 kg) are NOT allowed in the water as our water entry / exit staircase has a specific weight limit
Not recommended for travelers with a history of panic attacks

Amazing experience! Alika was able to accommodate us for the tour and it was an experience that I will never forget. A manta ray came straight to where I was floating and turned upside down like 2 feet from me !!! Such beautiful creatures! The whole crew on the boat was great and very helpful. They offer drinks on the boat, they provide wetsuit , floaties & hot chocolate. The catamaran was a great size and the whole experience was perfect from the beginning until the end! Definitely recommend 100%

Numerous Manta rays, ranging from 5 to 8 foot wingspan, doing loop-de-loops directly in front of us. They were repeatedly in arms distance over some 25 of the 45 minutes when we were in the water, and in fact 2 of our party of 4 were lightly struck by a wing at some point. It is hard to avoid the conclusion that the Manta rays were performing and had come to our spot to play in front of the 20 people floating in the water. This was majestic!! The boat ride was rough however with about 4 people heaving over the side at some point. It rained hard and the wind chop was tossing the boat around... despite the weather, this was certainly my favorite activity during the week in the Big Island.

This was such an amazing experience!!! 10/10 would recommend and would do again! The crew was great and kept us safe and happy the whole time!!
