Our most popular tour! Watch a legendary Kona sunset from our spacious 50’ catamaran as you sail the Kona coast, followed by the adventure of a lifetime - snorkeling with the majestic manta rays! Upon arriving, receive an in-depth explanation of one of the most mysterious creatures in the ocean. Join your professional/certified guides in the water as you snorkel with the majestic hahalua (manta rays). Snorkel equipment, instruction, wetsuits and swim noodles are provided. Complimentary water, juice, soft drinks, and hot cocoa included.

A minimum of 2 people per booking is required
Any tour participants that are getting in the water MUST KNOW HOW TO SWIM without the assistance of a flotation device
Children under the age of 5 are not allowed in the water and MUST be accompanied by an adult on the vessel at all times
Guests are asked to check-in at our KONASTYLE retail outlet 45 MINUTES PRIOR to your scheduled departure time. We are located in the Kona Square Shopping Complex. Our address is 75 5669 Alii Drive, #1107, Kailua-Kona, HI 96740
We offer discounted self parking at the Courtyard Marriott King Kamehameha Hotel. Parking charge is $13 for up to 5.5 hours. Please remember to bring your parking ticket with you at check-in.
PLEASE NOTE that trip start times VARY throughout the year to accommodate for the time changes of the setting sun.
PLEASE NOTE that full-face snorkel masks are NOT allowed to be used by guests
Not recommended for travelers that are not strong swimmers. If guest is not a competent swimmer (as determined by the Captain and/or crew), they will be directed to immediately return to the vessel. In such instances the guest will NOT be refunded
Not recommended for travelers that are prone to seasickness / motion sickness
Guests weighing more than 300 lb (136 kg) are NOT allowed in the water as our water entry / exit staircase has a specific weight limit
Not recommended for travelers with a history of panic attacks

We had an amazing time on the sunset snorkel trip. The captain and crew were super friendly, helpful and went out of their way to make sure everyone had a great time. My kids were a little scared to get in the water at nighttime but the crew helped to ease their fears. The crew was also very knowledgeable about manta rays and we learned a lot from them! Would definitely use Kona Style again and highly recommend to anyone else looking for a manta ray snorkel trip.

We had an amazing time on this cruise and snorkel adventure. Crew was excellent-skilled, great hospitality, knowledgeable and kind. The timing of this trip is ideal-full sunset but also dark for the manta viewing. Mantas are wild. 100% recommend.

This is a must-do activity when you are in Kona! The crew was amazing! Everyone was friendly and helpful. We saw so many manta rays, and the sunset was amazing.
