I got VERY seasick, but the galley staff and crew were very helpful. They came by to check on me regularly and boxed my food so I could take it to go. The crew made what was turning out to be a miserable experience into an enjoyable one.

It was the worst boat ride Iowa have been on it made me so sick I was throwing up I couldn't eat my food I was sitting all last night I was not satisfied at all with this dinner the generator went out it was my fair for me and my husband and my family to go through something like this it was very very scary and bad thank you

We weren't advised about no alcohol until we were boarding the vessel. There was a wedding party on board and the crew showed absolutely no attention to anyone other than the wedding party. The ship ran out of gas and we had to sit and wait for the tugboat to pull us back. We ate in the dark and there was no dessert after all. No ne offered us any kind of compensation for any of the mishaps or missing part of our dinner. I would not recommend this activity to anyone!

Firstly, we sincerely apologize for the unforeseen situation on that dinner cruise, and we hope that it hasn’t discouraged you from getting out on the ocean in the future. Also, we appreciate you taking the time to let us know what you think. I’m not sure at what time you posted this review, but the entire cruise was fully refunded immediately, and passengers were notified (while still on the boat) that this would be done. In addition to the full refund, all passengers have been offered a complimentary cruise on any trip, at any time. Just to clarify a couple of things; the vessel did not “run out of gas” but did experienced an unforeseeable primary fuel line issue which essentially starved the engines and generators of diesel fuel. Sometimes mechanical things fail when you don’t expect it. Also, the BYOB format of the boat is clearly presented in every marketing media and platform that we use, including Viator/Trip Advisor. As well, it is clearly indicated on the booking confirmation documents and a dedicated email/text is sent to every party a couple hours before the cruise, just in case.
