I was very disappointed, ship old, didn’t look like online. No entertainment, music little none. Food was horrible. For the price we paid they could’ve served at least a glass of wine but we were served pineapple juice. It was a big ripoff. The servers were friendly. That’s the only good thing l could say. Recommend: one tip box to be shared instead of server and cook looking yo be tipped. BIG RIPOFF

Thank you for taking the time to put together a review and letting us know what you thought of the trip. Luckily, I don’t have to reply to very many poor reviews, but it comes with the territory. We put a lot of effort into making our cruises enjoyable and memorable because we don’t want our passengers to think they are simply a one-time customer that we don’t care about. Most of the time bad reviews are a result of missed expectations and this review is an excellent example of that. This booking was through Viator and, as much as we love Viator and it is an amazing booking system, it unfortunately lacks a great deal of information (compared to our website) or makes the information a bit of a challenge to find. A useful exercise for these passengers would have been to carefully read the Viator trip description and to visit our website, which provides clear and concise information about exactly what they didn’t like about the trip. We clearly present our temporary BYOB policy in the booking descriptions, information, confirmation, and text/email reminders prior to the cruise. A brief history of the boat (age, origins, uses) and our menu (including pictures and descriptions) are provided, as well as social media links with dozens of recent pictures of the Prince Kuhio from both passengers and the company, and I can say with certainty that the Prince Kuhio is not misrepresented in any way in those pictures. We also make a point to explain why we have decided to refrain from a “show” on our cruises, out of respect for Hawaiian culture, but we do have background music playing. Music which is easily adapted to any customers requests. Obviously, we can’t make everyone happy with regards to our food, but we believe that we have the best food quality of any dinner cruise because it is prepared fresh on-board by our own Chef Cater… and we have an enormous number of positive reviews to back that up.

The crew was friendly and helpful. The boat was nice with lots of seating available. But the dinner was absolutely amazing. There were two options - beef short ribs and freshly caught white fish. They were both expertly prepared. Thanks for a very nice evening!

The food!!! The food was fantastic! Hats off to the chef! The entire crew was magnicent. Everyone was very kind and considerate. I would definitely do this dinner cruise again and recommend it to others!
